In the second quarter of 2021, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Angola displayed diverse performance metrics. Using data from Sensor Tower, we take a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user trends for the leading apps on a unified platform.

Heetch - Ride-hailing app saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 14.3K in the final week of April before descending to around 4.4K by the end of May. However, downloads rebounded to nearly 11K by the last week of June. Active users for Heetch experienced an overall increase, starting at 26.8K in late March and rising to about 35.5K by the end of June.

inDrive. Save on city rides exhibited a consistent, albeit low, download rate, with weekly downloads varying between 55 and 87. Active users showed a steady increase from around 721 in late March to about 759 by the end of June.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced modest weekly downloads, ranging from 17 to 60. Active users for Bolt displayed a slight upward trend, starting at 625 and reaching approximately 730 by late June.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had a low yet steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 16 to 52. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 281 in late March and climbing to around 337 by the end of June.
